Dr. Saurab Sharma is an Adjunct Senior Lecturer at the University of New South Wales (UNSW), an honorary Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Neuroscience Research Australia, and Chief Clinical Research Scientist at the Pain Management and Research Centre, Royal North Shore Hospital. His research focuses on equitable pain care globally, particularly in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) and culturally diverse populations.

His research interests are centered on sociocultural factors in healthcare, development of culturally relevant pain interventions, and strengthening health systems for underserved populations. He leads the Consortium for Low Back Pain in LMICs, with over 65 members across 35 countries.
