Satyam Sarma, M.D., is an Associate Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center, where he joined in 2012. He is also a member of the Division of Cardiology. Dr. Sarma earned his bachelor's degree in bioengineering and biology from the University of Pennsylvania, followed by a medical degree from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. His clinical and research focus centers on heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF) and metabolic disorders.
