Saroj Niraula

Saroj Niraula is an Associate Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at the Max Rady College of Medicine, University of Manitoba. He serves as a Medical Oncologist at CancerCare Manitoba and a Scientist at the Research Institute of Oncology and Hematology (RIOH). Dr. Niraula chairs the Breast Cancer Program at CancerCare Manitoba and focuses on treating solid organ malignancies, particularly breast cancer.

His research spans cancer drug regulation, toxicity assessment of novel anticancer therapies, global oncology, and real-world outcomes. He contributes to drug approval processes in Manitoba and has published extensively in high-impact journals such as the Journal of Clinical Oncology and Journal of the American Medical Association. Dr. Niraula is affiliated with multiple research networks, including the SPOR Evidence Alliance and the International Research Network on Transitions to Adulthood from Care (INTRAC).
