Sarah Woodfield, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor of Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine and a member of the Dan L. Duncan Comprehensive Cancer Center. She specializes in pediatric surgical oncology, focusing on liver cancer and rare tumors.

Her research utilizes Drosophila melanogaster models to study cancer biology and has expanded to developing patient-derived cell lines (PDCLs) and patient-derived xenograft (PDX) mouse models for pediatric liver cancer.
