Sarah Weaver is a Senior Lecturer in Adult Nursing and Lead for Practice Learning and Partnerships at the School of Nursing and Midwifery, University of Worcester. She provides strategic oversight for practice learning across NHS Trusts, independent sectors, and course provision, ensuring innovative placement opportunities for nursing and midwifery students. As Co-lead for the MACP4010 Professional Advocate module, she teaches clinical skills, complex decision-making, and prescribing.

Her research focuses on practice learning support for international student nurses, restorative clinical supervision in higher education, and joy/compassion in workplace mentoring. She actively participates in regional/national practice learning initiatives and chairs the Practice Liaison Teams for nursing and midwifery. Sarah is applying for Senior Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy.
Scientific contributions include poster presentations at the Nursing Education Today Conference (Barcelona), Queen’s Nursing Institute annual conference, and HEA Healthcare conference (2023). She will present research on workplace happiness at a Greece conference in 2024 and lead a presentation on compassion in education at UCH London.
