Sarah Victoria Holm is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Helsinki, affiliated with the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and the Department of Equine and Small Animal Medicine. She is part of the Helsinki One Health Research and the DogRisk research group.

Research Interests: Sarah focuses on trace elements and toxic metals in relation to chronic diseases and diet, particularly canine idiopathic epilepsy. Her work often explores how early-life dietary interventions affect long-term health outcomes in dogs.
Publications Trends: Her recent articles emphasize the role of dietary factors in canine health, including dental calculus, otitis, and epilepsy. Studies span Finland and utilize cross-sectional and longitudinal approaches.
Projects: She co-leads the DI-FoOD project (2025–2027), a prospective diet intervention study for obese dogs.
