Dr Sarah Tzinieris is a Lecturer in Security Studies Education at King’s College London’s Department of War Studies, part of the Centre for Science and Security Studies (CSSS). She holds a PhD and MPhil in International Relations from the University of Cambridge. Her work bridges academia and policy, focusing on emerging challenges to global order, particularly in the Indo-Pacific region, AUKUS dynamics, nuclear security, and critical mineral supply chains. She co-edited *The Oxford Handbook of Nuclear Security* and contributes to the UK government’s Nuclear Security Capacity Building Programme.
Her interdisciplinary research spans deterrence strategies, coercive diplomacy, sanctions, and CBRN terrorism. She teaches modules on non-proliferation, international security, and intelligence analysis across King’s War Studies and Defence Studies departments. She serves on the UN 1540 Committee’s *Compass Journal* advisory board and led the new MA in Security Studies for professionals. Recent projects include analyzing AUKUS’s implications for submarine development, supply chain resilience, and nuclear security in crises.
