Sarah Perry

Sarah Perry serves as an Assistant Economist at the Ulster University Economic Policy Centre within the Ulster Business School, Ulster University. She initially joined the centre during her placement year in 2021 and, after graduating with a first-class honours degree in Economics from Ulster University in 2023, she returned to the role later that year.

Her research focuses on Northern Ireland labour market dynamics, providing evidence-based analysis for economic policy formulation. She specializes in regional labour economics with emphasis on workforce trends, employment patterns, and socioeconomic impacts specific to Northern Ireland. Perry also contributes to teaching activities within the Ulster Business School, supporting undergraduate and postgraduate instruction in economics.

Sarah is an integral member of the Ulster University Economic Policy Centre, a research unit dedicated to producing high-impact economic analysis for policymakers, government agencies, and industry stakeholders across Northern Ireland. The centre operates from Ulster University's Belfast campus, facilitating close collaboration with regional economic development bodies.
