Todd Gowdy serves as a Researcher at the Ulster University Economic Policy Centre, based at the Belfast campus (Room BA-02-031, 2-24 York Street, Belfast, BT15 1AP). He joined the Centre in 2024 and is actively engaged in research projects focusing on local and Northern Ireland macroeconomic models, as well as research projects investigating capital investment and productivity.
Mr. Gowdy holds a first class honours degree in Economics from Ulster University and is currently pursuing a part-time MSc in Applied Economics at the University of Bath. His research interests span Macroeconomics, Capital Investment, Productivity, and Applied Economics, with a particular emphasis on regional economic analysis and modeling of Northern Ireland's economic dynamics.
As a core member of the Ulster University Economic Policy Centre, he contributes to the Centre's mission of delivering evidence-based economic research, policy analysis, and strategic insights for government bodies, industry stakeholders, and academic partners across Northern Ireland and beyond.
