Dr. Sarah Pass is a Senior Lecturer in HRM at Nottingham Business School, Nottingham Trent University. With over twenty years of teaching experience across undergraduate, postgraduate and executive levels, she specializes in research methods, consultancy projects, and employee engagement modules. She serves as an Ambassador for Engage for Success, chairing the Line Manager Thought and Action Group, Engagement Champions Thought and Action Group, and East Midlands Regional Group.
Her research focuses on employee engagement mechanisms, health services integration, and leadership development in organizational contexts. Recent work examines the impact of remote working during the COVID-19 pandemic and workforce inequalities in contemporary workplaces.
Dr. Pass collaborates extensively with organizations including the University of Manchester, University of Nottingham, CIPD, and NHS. Her doctoral research at Cardiff University investigated employee motivation and high-performance work systems, sponsored by the EPSRC. She holds additional qualifications including an MSc in HRM, Diploma in Social Science Research Methods, and ILM in Leadership and Management.
