Jessey Pswarayi

Jessey Pswarayi is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Human Resource at Nottingham Business School, Nottingham Trent University. She serves as the Joint Honours Course Leader for BABM (Business and Management) and Human Resource programmes and is a member of the Department Quality Team. Her roles include course management, student support, assessment planning, and contributions to the School’s Quality and Enhancement Plan.

Her research focuses on diversity management in service sectors, dialogical approaches to diversity discourse, and Tupe workforce engagement. She actively collaborates with institutions like the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and the Chartered Management Institute (CMI). Jessey has held prior academic positions at Birmingham City University and Staffordshire University, where she continues as a DBA Supervisor.

Jessey teaches HRM and Organisational Behaviour modules at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, supervises doctoral and research projects, and mentors new staff. She contributes to curriculum transformation aligned with the Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF) and leads initiatives within the Interdisciplinary Leadership and HR Research Cluster group.
