Rachel Williams is a Senior Lecturer in Human Resource Management at Cardiff Business School, with over a decade of prior experience as an HR practitioner in NHS, manufacturing, and professional services sectors. She holds qualifications including a BSc (Hons), MA in HRM, Postgraduate Certificate in University Teaching and Learning, and PG Dip HRM, and maintains close ties with the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) in Wales.

Her research focuses on workforce dynamics in veterinary and healthcare sectors, examining experiences of early-career professionals, recruitment challenges, and socio-economic barriers to employment. Rachel teaches MSc HRM, Healthcare Planning diplomas, and executive education modules. She currently serves as Admissions Tutor for BSc Business Management degrees and previously held program leadership roles for MSc and MBA HRM courses.
