Professor Sarah McGeown is a faculty member at the University of Edinburgh, serving as the REF Engagement and Impact Lead within the Moray House School of Education and Sport and the Institute for Education, Community & Society (IECS). She holds a PhD in Psychology from the University of Hull and has extensive teaching and research expertise in education and literacy.

Research Interests: Focused on literacy across the lifespan, reading engagement, neurodiversity, and educational interventions. Directs the University of Edinburgh Literacy Lab, exploring how literacy enriches lives through projects like Neurodiversity and Narrative Fiction and Reading and Wellbeing.
