Sarah Malik

Sarah Malik is an Associate Professor at Johnson & Wales University's Charlotte campus, where she has taught since 1998. Her extensive career spans both industry leadership and academia, including roles as Food & Beverage Director for Hilton International, General Manager for major hospitality brands, and hotel management education in Switzerland. She maintains affiliations with the Society of Wine Educators and Guild of Sommeliers.

Malik's academic focus centers on wine and spirits education, with teaching spanning Wine Spirit Education Trust certifications (Levels 1-3), mixology, and global wine studies. Her research examines emerging trends like English Sparkling Wine, millennial consumer behavior, and regional viticulture.
