Sarah MacDonald is a Part-Time Lecturer at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM), affiliated with the Division of Community Empowerment and Institutional Inclusivity (CEII) since 2023. She serves as the Training & Dispute Resolution Specialist, collaborating with the Office of Equal Opportunity and Civil Rights to foster campus inclusion through conflict transformation strategies. She also teaches part-time in UWM's Master of Sustainable Peacebuilding (MSP) program.
- Education: Ph.D. in Ethics from Emory University (concentration: Religion, Conflict, and Peacebuilding), M.A. in English from the University of Iowa, M.Div. from McCormick Theological Seminary.
Her research focuses on conflict transformation, inclusive pedagogy, and ethics of solidarity, informed by her international peacebuilding experience. From 2018–2023, she worked as a teaching consultant in UWM's Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL), developing the Inclusive Teaching Series. She has been a member of the UWM Ombuds Council since 2019.
