Sarah Haywood Eaton is an Adjunct Professor and a civil rights attorney at Disability Rights Washington (DRW), specializing in systemic impact litigation, facility monitoring, and advocating for disability rights. She graduated magna cum laude from Seattle University School of Law (JD, 2013), where she received the Dean's Medal, and holds a BA in Diplomacy and World Affairs from Occidental College.
Her research and professional focus centers on disability rights, civil rights litigation, and public interest law. At DRW, she investigates abuse/neglect cases, monitors facilities serving people with disabilities, and provides technical assistance. She has interned with organizations like the Unemployment Law Project and Legal Voice, and contributed to Seattle University's Civil Rights Amicus Clinic and the Seattle Journal for Social Justice as its Managing Editor.
Awarded the Dean's Medal for academic excellence, Sarah’s work emphasizes systemic change through legal strategies. She is affiliated with Disability Rights Washington, a nonprofit dedicated to protecting disability rights across Washington State.
