Prianka Nair is a Clinical Professor and Co-Director of the Bet Tzedek Civil Litigation Clinic at Cardozo School of Law (Yeshiva University), a position she assumed in 2025. Previously, she served as Assistant Professor of Clinical Law and Faculty Director of the Disability and Civil Rights Clinic at Brooklyn Law School. She holds a law degree from an Australian institution, practiced as a Solicitor for the Australian federal government, and earned an LL.M. from Columbia Law School as a James Kent Scholar.
Her professional focus centers on disability rights, civil rights litigation, and public interest law. She has litigated under the Americans with Disabilities Act, Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, and Fourteenth Amendment, while also handling guardianship proceedings and advocating for systemic policy changes. Her work includes abuse/neglect investigations in New York correctional facilities and fighting for equitable access to services for persons with disabilities.
