Sara Tommasi is an Associate Professor of Private Law at the University of Salento's Department of Legal Sciences. She holds qualifications for roles in Private Law and Economic/Financial Markets Law. Her research focuses on digital market regulation, consumer protection (particularly in credit agreements), artificial intelligence governance, and green transition compliance.
She has conducted research at the Max Planck Institute for European Legal History and taught at the University of Granada and Rovira i Virgili University. Currently, she coordinates the 'Digital Market and Consumer Protection' research unit and leads a Project of Relevant National Interest (PRIN) on digital services regulation.
As Rector's Delegate, she manages institutional agreements and patronage. She serves on the board of the 'Unione dei Privatisti' and organized the International Summer School on Consumer Protection.
