Sara J. Singer, PhD, MBA, is a Professor of Health Policy at the Stanford University School of Medicine and holds courtesy appointments at the Stanford Graduate School of Business and the Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies. She directs the HELIO Labs, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration across Stanford’s Schools of Medicine, Business, Engineering, and Humanities. Her research focuses on improving healthcare safety, quality, and equity through organizational culture, leadership, and team dynamics. Key themes include patient safety, integrated care, and innovation implementation in complex systems.
Education: PhD in Health Policy and Organization Behavior from Harvard University, MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business.
