Sara Ilić is a PhD student at the Lucerne Graduate School in Ethics (LGSE) at the University of Lucerne's Institute of Social Ethics (ISE), researching design thinking from an ethical perspective. She is a lecturer for the course “Introduction to Design Thinking” at Campus Luzern, involving the University of Lucerne, Lucerne University of Teacher Education (PHLU), and Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HSLU). Additionally, she serves as a business trainer, change management consultant, and design thinking trainer with 11 years of professional experience in international reinsurance, including 6 years in human resources and organizational development.
Education: B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Economics and Organizational Sciences from Universität der Bundeswehr München, with a focus on sustainable organizations, global economy, industrial psychology, and international management. She also holds qualifications as an insurance and finance practitioner (Kauffrau für Versicherungen und Finanzen – IHK).
Research Interests: Business ethics, ethics in organizations, design thinking applications in business, organizational development, and change management. Her doctoral work explores the ethical dimensions of design thinking in business and organizational contexts.
Awards: Doctoral fellowship from the Hanns-Seidel-Foundation.
Professional Affiliations: Member of Deutsches Netzwerk Wirtschaftsethik (EBEN Deutschland e.V.) and the Ethics and Philosophy Working Group of the German Philosophical Society (DGPhil).
