Dr. Sara Hays is an Assistant Professor of English at Cumberland University, affiliated with The Millard and JJ Oakley School of Humanities, Education and the Arts. She transitioned to full-time faculty in 2018 after serving as an adjunct since 2011. Her teaching focuses on children’s/adolescent literature, British literature, and composition. Previously, she taught at the International Academy of Design and Technology and Volunteer State Community College.
