Sanja Radinović is an Associate Professor of Ethnomusicology at the Department of Ethnomusicology, Faculty of Music in Belgrade, where she has been employed since 1989 and attained Associate Professor rank in 2007. She completed her bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees at the Faculty of Music under Professor Dragoslav Dević.

Professor Radinović's research focuses on Serbian vocal heritage, particularly morphological characteristics of Serbian folk songs, analytical methodology, old Serbian two-part singing, and forms of the old ritual layer. She also investigates rhythm, history of Serbian ethnomusicology, sevdalinka, and spiritual music traditions across cultures. Her scholarly output comprises approximately sixty publications in domestic and international journals including Studia Musicologica Academiae Scientiarum Hungaricae (Budapest), Makedonski folklor (Skopje), and New Sound (Belgrade).
Her scientific awards:
- Mile Nedeljković Award (2012) for the book "Oblik i reč" (Form and Word), recognized as the best study in contemporary Serbian folkloristics published in 2011
As an educator, she has mentored 13 bachelor's and master's students, with a dozen of their seminar works published in Serbian scientific journals. She established transcription and analysis practices for Serbian vocal forms that became integral to bachelor's curriculum at the Department of Ethnomusicology. Additionally, she has served as a part-time lecturer at academic institutions in Priština/Varvarin, Kragujevac, and Istočno Sarajevo.
