Sangpil Yoon

Dr. Sangpil Yoon is an Assistant Professor at the University of Oklahoma's School of Electrical and Computer Engineering within the Gallogly College of Engineering. His laboratory integrates medical imaging, synthetic biology, and immunology to advance disease understanding and therapeutic strategies. He holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas, Austin, an M.S. in Aerospace Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Yonsei University.

Research focuses on ultrasound molecular contrast agents for deep tissue imaging, multiplexed imaging, gene delivery, and super-resolution imaging algorithms. His work emphasizes translational applications in cancer and disease biomarker identification.
