Byeong-Min Roh

Dr. Byeong-Min Roh is an Assistant Professor in the School of Industrial and Systems Engineering at the University of Oklahoma. His research focuses on advanced manufacturing processes, particularly additive manufacturing, with a focus on process modeling, real-time monitoring, and AI-based quality assurance. He previously served as a Guest Researcher at NIST and has secured funding from organizations like NIST, American Makes, and GM. His work emphasizes improving manufacturing technologies through process-structure-quality relationships, in-situ quality control, and metal AM process guidance.

Education includes a Ph.D. and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering, and an M.S. in Industrial Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University, alongside B.S. degrees in Manufacturing Systems & Design Engineering from Northumbria University (UK) and Seoul National University of Science and Technology (South Korea).
