Sandip Dhole is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Accounting at Monash Business School, Monash University. He joined in 2018 and holds a PhD in Accounting from the University of Houston. His expertise spans financial reporting quality, analyst forecasts, voluntary disclosures, and climate change. He previously worked at the Indian School of Business and the University of Melbourne.
- Education: B.Com (Hons) from University of Calcutta, Master of Business Management (MBM), and PhD in Accounting from University of Houston
His research focuses on improving financial reporting transparency, analyzing management disclosures, and exploring the intersection of corporate culture with climate change reporting. Recent work examines how customer-focused corporate cultures influence sustainability disclosures and how economic policy uncertainty affects financial comparability.
He has received the Monash Business School Seed Funding Scheme award in 2019. His research has been published in top journals like The Accounting Review, Journal of Business Finance & Accounting, and Journal of Accounting and Public Policy.
