Dr. Edwin Lim is an Associate Professor of Accounting at the School of Business, Monash University Malaysia, and an Honorary Associate Professor of Accounting at Deakin University, Australia. He holds a PhD in Accounting from Monash University and is a CPA Australia. His academic work spans teaching, research, and professional engagement in accounting and business disciplines.
His educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Accounting from Monash University (2015), a Bachelor of Commerce (First-Class Honours) in Accounting and Finance (2011), a Bachelor of Business in Accounting, Banking, and Finance (2009), and an Advanced Executive Certificate in Machine Learning and Data Analytics using Python from the National University of Singapore (2023).
Edwin's research centers on financial accounting, corporate reporting, auditing, corporate governance, sustainability reporting, ESG, climate change disclosures, human capital, employee treatment, and capital markets.
