Sandip Basu is an Associate Professor at the Narendra Paul Loomba Department of Management, part of the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College, City University of New York. His research focuses on corporate venturing, strategic change, organizational capabilities, spin-offs, and social entrepreneurship.
- Education: PhD in Strategic Management, University of Washington (2007); PGDip in Management, Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (1991); BTech in Mechanical Engineering, National Institute of Technology Warangal (1988)
His recent publications analyze societal culture’s impact on social ventures, digital technologies in entrepreneurial innovation, and corporate venture capital dynamics. He has secured grants from PSC-CUNY and California State University East Bay for research on strategic renewal and knowledge quality in ventures.
