Samuel Horner

Dr. Samuel Horner is a Lecturer in Innovation Management at the University of Liverpool Management School. He previously conducted Leverhulme-funded research at the Leverhulme Centre for Materials Design. He earned his PhD from the University of Liverpool Management School in 2019 and has since taught on undergraduate and postgraduate programs. His research focuses on university-industry collaboration, technology transfer, artificial intelligence, and innovation, with a theoretical emphasis on processual approaches to organizational time and temporality. He serves as an editorial board member for Academy of Management Learning and Education and has reviewed for journals like Organization Studies. He received the 'Outstanding Emerging Reviewer' prize in 2020.
