Jonti Horner

Jonti Horner is Professor of Astrophysics at the University of Southern Queensland's School of Mathematics, Physics and Computing. He researches Solar System dynamics, exoplanet detection, and astrobiology, with particular focus on Jovian Trojans and habitable zone stability.

He leads major projects including MINERVA-Australis exoplanet detection initiative and GALAH spectroscopic survey contributions. His group develops dynamical models linking Solar System evolution to exoplanetary systems.

With 250+ publications, Horner's work frequently appears in Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society and The Astronomical Journal, covering topics from planet formation to asteroid destabilization mechanisms.
