Professor Sam Kamuriwo is Professor of Strategy and Innovation at Bayes Business School, directing the MSc International Business program. Holds engineering and management degrees from University of Zimbabwe and City University London.
Research examines non-organic innovation strategies, board-level governance, and entrepreneurial ecosystems. Current projects focus on university-led innovation ecosystems in Sub-Saharan Africa and electricity sector innovations.
Publications address corporate innovation diffusion, university ecosystem development, and financial decision-making in concentrated industries. Recent work explores transnational models for entrepreneurship education and innovation policy.
Secured £3.3m+ research funding for African innovation initiatives. Teaches strategic management and venturing courses at postgraduate level, previously visiting scholar at Wharton Business School.
