Stefania Zerbinati is a Professor of Entrepreneurship at Bayes Business School, City St George's, University of London. She holds a PhD, MA, and BA in social sciences, with expertise in Entrepreneurship and Public Sector Management. Her research focuses on entrepreneurial behavior in local governments, higher education institutions, and corporate venture capital. She has served as an external examiner for prominent universities such as Imperial College, London School of Economics, and Warwick Business School.
Her academic career includes visiting scholar positions at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania (2008-2009), and Vlerick (2005). She teaches Entrepreneurship and Strategic Management across undergraduate, MSc, and MBA programs, employing experiential learning methods. Her work appears in top journals like the Academy of Management Journal and Journal of Business Venturing.
Research interests span public sector entrepreneurship, corporate venture capital dynamics, and the impact of founder decisions on IPO performance. She is an alumna of Babson College’s Price-Babson Symposium for Entrepreneurship Educators.
