Dr Sam Baroudi serves as a Senior Lecturer at the Adelaide Business School within the Faculty of Arts, Business, Law and Economics at the University of Adelaide. Previously holding leadership roles including Head of Discipline (Management) and Program Director for undergraduate project management programs, he maintains active teaching and research responsibilities across undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
His academic background includes a Doctor of Project Management earned during his tenure at the University of South Australia, where he previously served as Program Director for postgraduate project management offerings. With extensive industry experience spanning various building projects across Australia, Dr Baroudi founded and directed the commercial construction company Baroudi Zoina Pty Ltd for a decade before transitioning to academia.
Research interests focus on construction management methodologies, project management frameworks, and specialized disaster recovery project management applications. His scholarly work demonstrates significant collaboration with Purdue University in the United States, representing international research partnerships in this specialized field. Dr Baroudi's publications bridge theoretical knowledge with practical industry applications, particularly in high-stakes project environments.
