Salma A. Ibrahim is a doctoral candidate in Archaeological Sciences and Human Evolution at the University of Tübingen, Germany, affiliated with the Faculty of Science and the Institute of Archaeological Sciences, Palaeoanthropology department. She is part of the ERC-funded FIRSTSTEPS project (2024–Present), focusing on ZooMS analysis for taxonomic identification using collagen peptide mass fingerprinting and assessing faunal preservation from Middle to Upper Palaeolithic sites in Greece.
- B.A. in Social and Behavioral Sciences (2018), American University of Kuwait, with a concentration in Cultural Anthropology.
- M.Sc. in Archaeological Sciences and Human Evolution (2023), University of Tübingen.

- Dental Microwear Laboratory Assistant (HiWi) at the Palaeoanthropology department (July 2023–January 2024).
