Sailaja Kamaraju

Dr. Sailaja Kamaraju is a Professor in the Department of Medicine (Hematology and Oncology) at the Medical College of Wisconsin. She holds affiliations with MCW's Cancer Center, Cardiovascular Research Center, and Center for Advancing Population Science. Previously, she served as a Medical Oncologist at Aurora Health Care (2003-2011).

Her research centers on breast cancer therapeutics, health disparities, and survivorship, with emphasis on:

• Metastatic breast cancer treatment (e.g., SMILE trial)
• Genetic testing barriers in minority populations
• Social determinants of health in cancer outcomes
• Cardio-oncology drug interactions
