Damé Idossa

Dr. Damé Idossa is a medical oncologist at Mayo Clinic Comprehensive Cancer Center in Rochester, Minnesota, specializing in breast cancer treatment with particular expertise in triple negative breast cancer, early onset and/or post-partum breast cancer, and cancer survivorship. She is actively engaged in research focused on cancer care delivery, symptom management, quality of life, and improving access to clinical trials.

Dr. Idossa earned her MD from Yale School of Medicine in 2016 and completed her Internal Medicine residency at Mayo Clinic in 2019. She furthered her training with fellowships at the University of California San Francisco in Medicine (2021) and Epidemiology (NIH T32 Fellowship, 2022). She holds board certifications in Internal Medicine (2019) and Medical Oncology (2022).

Her research spans breast cancer subtypes, clinical trial accessibility, and health disparities. Recent publications address HER2-low breast cancer, immunotherapy-related myocarditis, and strategies for enhancing patient retention in clinical trials. She serves as Lead of the ISPY Clinical Trial Access and Diversity Group and is a member of the ASCO Annual Meeting Education Program Committee.
