Sahera Dirajlal-Fargo is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics (Infectious Diseases) at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine and Co-Director of the Center for Global Pediatric Health, a collaboration between the Robert J. Havey, MD Institute for Global Health and Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago.

- Infectious Diseases fellowship at Children’s National Medical Center, Washington, D.C.
Her research focuses on complications of HIV in children and youth in the U.S. and sub-Saharan Africa, including long-term health outcomes and chronic comorbidities. She leads NIH-funded studies addressing these issues and has worked as a Pediatric AIDS Corps physician in Malawi. She specializes in HIV care for infants, children, and adolescents, as well as pediatric infectious diseases.
As Co-Director of the Center for Global Pediatric Health, she collaborates with institutions in Tanzania and Kenya to enhance medical education, ultrasound, trauma, and cardiology programs in resource-variable settings.
