Sacha Howell

Sacha Howell is a Senior Clinical Lecturer in Breast Oncology at the University of Manchester's Division of Cancer Sciences. Affiliated with The Christie and Manchester University NHS Foundation Trusts, their work focuses on endocrine therapy mechanisms, breast cancer prevention, and translational research in cancer stem cells. Howell holds a PhD from the University of Manchester and completed medical training at the University of Nottingham. They lead breast cancer risk prediction services and manage patients across all cancer stages.

Publications: Over 156 outputs, including studies on circadian rhythms in cancer stem cells and estrogen receptor signaling. Recent work explores weight gain prevention apps for high-risk women.
