Susan Astley Theodossiadis is Professor and Chair in the Division of Informatics, Imaging & Data Sciences at the University of Manchester. She holds a PhD in Automated Detection of Blood Vessels from the University of Manchester and honorary positions at the Royal College of Radiologists and General Medical Council.
Her research centers on breast cancer screening technologies, including mammographic density measurement, digital breast tomosynthesis, and computer-aided detection systems. She directs projects on precision cancer prevention and risk-stratified screening.
