Sabine Go is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Accounting at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU) and affiliated with the Amsterdam Business Research Institute. She holds a PhD from VU (2009) and specializes in the economic institutions of the early modern Low Countries, particularly contract enforcement mechanisms and their impact on economic development. Her research emphasizes maritime insurance, general average systems, and institutional governance in historical contexts.
