Sabina Netherclift is a Teaching Fellow in Contemporary Performance at the Guildford School of Acting (GSA), University of Surrey, where she lectures in Contemporary Theatre Practice. She is an active practitioner, director, movement director, and performer with over 20 years of experience in the UK and internationally.

Sabina specializes in Physical Theatre, Ensemble Practice, Puppetry, Mask Work, and Storytelling. Her work is deeply rooted in the pedagogy of Jacques Lecoq and emphasizes embodied performance, collaborative creation, and site-responsive theatre. She co-founded the choral theatre company Filament and has directed numerous productions across the UK, including performances in hospitals, public spaces, and festivals. Her movement direction spans theatre and large-scale choral events.
She is a resident artist at South Street Arts Centre, where she has co-created and performed in innovative works presented in unusual locations. Her practice bridges performance, community engagement, and experimental theatre, contributing significantly to participatory and socially engaged art.
Sabina has led workshops and participatory projects with organizations such as Opera North, English National Opera, and the Royal Opera House. Her work demonstrates a strong commitment to inclusive and accessible theatre-making.
