Jo Tomalin is a Professor of Movement & Voice at San Francisco State University's Theatre Arts department, advising students and directing productions. Trained at Goldsmith's College (Laban Movement), École Jacques Lecoq (Physical Acting), RADA, and Trinity College of Dramatic Art, she holds a Ph.D. in Performance Studies. Her work integrates physical theatre, masks, and voice with emerging technologies, including online pedagogy.
Industry collaborations span graphic design firms and theatre companies. Her 2005 publication explores technology's role in puppetry and arts education.
