He holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Texas at Arlington (2022) and a B.S. in Mathematics and Chemistry from the University of Texas at Austin. His work focuses on algebraic structures in supermathematics, particularly Lie superalgebras and quantized enveloping superalgebras, with applications to representation theory. He also explores algebraic geometry, especially elliptic fibrations.
- Education:
- Ph.D., University of Texas at Arlington
- B.S., University of Texas at Austin
His research integrates combinatorial, geometric, and algebraic approaches to analyze representations of Lie superalgebras of types P and Q. Ahmed has published his dissertation work in Letters in Mathematical Physics and emphasizes mentoring underrepresented students in mathematics.
Awarded participation in the 2023 ADJOINT program, Ahmed advocates for equitable mentorship and community-building in academia. He has been involved in initiatives like the MSRI-UP program (2022) and the AMS UTA chapter, aiming to diversify the mathematics community.
