Ryan Lokken

Ryan Lokken, MD is an Associate Professor in the Department of Radiology at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), specializing in Interventional Radiology. He holds roles in the Interventional Section and serves as an associate editor for the Journal of Vascular and Interventional Radiology (JVIR). His academic journey includes a Master’s in Public Health from Harvard (2006), an MD from Harvard Medical School (2007), an Internal Medicine internship at UC San Diego (2008), and radiology residency/fellowship training at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital (2008-2012) and UCSF (2013).

Prior to rejoining UCSF in 2018 as an Assistant Professor, he worked at the University of Illinois Hospital in Chicago.
