Dr. Ryan JJ Buckley is an Instructor of Emergency Medicine and Medicine in the Section of Pulmonary, Critical Care, & Sleep Medicine at the Yale School of Medicine. He works clinically in the Yale New Haven Hospital Emergency Department and Medical Intensive Care Unit. His research focuses on improving critical care for patients with complex substance use disorders, particularly opioid use disorder and withdrawal management. He holds a National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) K12 fellowship through the Yale-DAHRS program.
