Dr Ruth Daly is a Lecturer in Cultural Studies & Global Creative Industries at the School of Performance and Cultural Industries, University of Leeds. Her work bridges feminist theory, affect studies, and postcolonial theory to interrogate ethical humanities practices.

- MA in Modern Literary Studies (Queen’s University Belfast)
- BA (Hons) in English Literature (National University of Ireland, Maynooth)
Research Focus:
Daly’s scholarship centers on decolonial feminism, critical theory, and literature’s role in mental wellbeing. She explores intersections between visual culture, self-representation, and digital heritage, often through community-engaged methodologies.
Key Projects:
Co-leader of the Harehills Bibliotherapy Reading Group and founder of the Feminist Encounters Reading Group. Delivered workshops on digital sustainability at the British Museum and advised policy development in Hong Kong’s West Kowloon Cultural District.

Leadership & Mentorship:
