A certified Fitzmaurice Voicework instructor, Professor Childs specializes in acting techniques, vocal production, and physical theatre. Her research integrates performance pedagogy with political discourse in theatrical contexts, while her professional practice spans stage direction, dialect coaching, and voiceover artistry for industrial media. She maintains active engagement with contemporary playwriting through the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival.
