Rubana Islam is a Research Fellow at Macquarie University's Centre for the Health Economy (MUCHE), part of the Macquarie Medical School. She holds a PhD in Public Health from the University of New South Wales (UNSW) and a Master's in Health Policy from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. Her research focuses on health policy analysis, with expertise in health services research, mixed methods, and evidence synthesis. Key areas include health policy financing, epidemiology, cancer prevention, and digital health innovation.
