Rowland Curtis

Rowland Curtis is a Lecturer in Organisation Studies at Queen Mary University of London's School of Business and Management, affiliated with the Department of People and Organisations. He serves as Co-Director of the Organisation Studies Research Group and is an affiliate of the Centre on Labour and Global Production (CLGP). His research focuses on critical management studies, poststructuralist theory, and transformative pedagogy. Curtis teaches courses such as BUS302 (Organisation and Identity) and BUS324 (Management of Human Resources). He is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. His work interrogates power dynamics, knowledge production, and subjectivity in organisational contexts, with notable contributions to ephemera and Organization Studies. Supervision interests include critical management studies, organisational ethnography, and management education.
