معرفی
Rossella Manfredini is a Full Professor at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, affiliated with the Department of Biomedical, Metabolic and Neuroscience Sciences and the Center for Regenerative Medicine (CMR). Her research focuses on molecular mechanisms underlying hematological malignancies, particularly myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPNs) and acute myeloid leukemia (AML). Key interests include genetic mutations (e.g., JAK2, CALR, NPM1), T-cell exhaustion, stem cell biology, and therapeutic targets like ERK1/2 inhibition. She leads studies on immunotherapeutic approaches, clonal evolution analysis, and biomarker identification for clinical prognosis.
Her work combines genomic, proteomic, and functional studies to address disease progression and treatment resistance. Recent projects investigate CD44 antibody effects on extramedullary hematopoiesis, chromosome 9p abnormalities in MPNs, and single-cell analysis of leukemic transformation. The lab collaborates on translational research involving patient-derived xenograft models and next-generation sequencing workflows.
Publications highlight discoveries in T-cell dysfunction, fibrosis mechanisms, and molecular pathways driving MPN pathogenesis. Ongoing projects explore miRNA regulation in hematopoiesis and the role of oxidative stress responses in disease outcomes.
