Ross J. Salawitch is a Professor at the University of Maryland, College Park, with joint appointments in the Department of Atmospheric and Oceanic Science, Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, and Earth System Science Interdisciplinary Center (ESSIC). He holds a B.S. in Applied and Engineering Physics from Cornell University and a Ph.D. in Applied Physics from Harvard University.
